First impression - Welcome to Klaipeda

Sunday

One of or first impresomessions was a lack of communication. On our first evening we had to bring some national foods, but two countries didn't get this, so they didn't bring any, which was suppose to be our dinner. Luckly some of the other countries brought a lot, so we did get dinner.

Also we had a bit of trouble with the check-inn at the hotel, so that is why, we ended up with a feeling of some lack of communication and structure in the begining.

Monday

When we saw the University of Klaipeda for the first time, we found it very beautiful. Inside it it looks a bit like Hogwarts from Harry Potter. We must though admit that the rooms have very bad aucustics and the air gets very hot very quickly, so it can be hard to focus for a longer period.

Meeting our professors and co-students have been amazing. Everybody is very nice and have some interesting point of views and we think that we can learn a lot from each other.

We look forward to start our modules and learn about each others cultures and education systems. It will be interesting if we get closer to finding out what a Baltic Sea teacher is like.
