First Impressions

Hello everybody!

This is Julien from the german student group. In the following you can read something about happenings and experiences during our summerschool in Lithuania as seen from the german perspective.

Sunday
It’s the first day of the COHAB-project: Student groups from all participant countries meet at hotel "magnisima" in Klaipeda to get to know each other face-to-face... all participant countries? No. A group of 5 students from Germany is still travelling through the beautiful landscapes of the South Baltic area and go through its own adventure. Especially they are impressed by an outstanding compliant bus driver (named Bjørn) who departs from the regular route and brings them to the airport at Copenhagen. A while after midnight they arrive at the hotel.

Monday
After a short night and an energizing breakfast they finally get into contact with all other students and also receive a dearly welcome at the University of Klaipeda. Even if we just arrived we have to “pack our bags” once more but only to become acquainted with each other and in preparation for our fantasy trip. It is about our individual conception of a South Baltic teacher. Also we have some tea, coffee and cookies. Let’s see what is coming up…
